2013

May 2013 - Hayward House Tree of Life Appeal

Huge thanks to everyone who contributed to May's charity bingo evening where we managed to raise £150.00 for the Hayward House Tree of Life Appeal, who raise much needed funds to improve the the experience of patients and their families that use the hospice at Nottingham City Hospital.

April 2013 - Useful Vision

We would like to thank all of you who supported us in our April charity bingo event. You helped us raise £150 for Useful Vision, a wonderful charity dedicated to creating opportunities for vision impaired children across the north east.

March 2013 - Marie Curie Cancer Care

A big thank you to everyone who joined in the Bingo Studio Live Birthday celebrations and helped raise a fantastic £782 for Marie Curie cancer care. The money we raised will specifically go towards the Marie Curie Cancer Care Hospice in Newcastle upon Tyne.

February 2013 - Manx Cancer Help

On the 13th February, we managed to raise a whopping £345.59 along with Bingo Studio Live for the Manx Cancer Help charity, which is based on the Isle of Man. The funds will be used to help patients, carers and family members affected by cancer. All funds raised stay on the Island- they receive no government funding so rely soley on public donations.

January 2013 - Carers' Support Spelthorne

On January 9th we together raised a fabulous £160 for the Carers' Support Spelthorne charity! The money we raised will be put towards developing the services the charity provides to Carers who live in the Spelthorne area. Such services include support groups and information and training days.

 

2012

December 2012- East Anglian Air Ambulance

You helped us raise a brilliant £143.55 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance charity on Wednesday 12th December. The money raised will go towards keeping its two air ambulances flying in order to save the lives of those unfortunate enough to be involved in accidents or medical emergencies in the region.  Because of the advanced skills, drugs and equipment found on board and being able to access places impossible for a land ambulance, the EAAA can make the difference.

November 2012- Wigan Stars

On Wednesday 14th November we raised a fantastic £154 for the Wigan Stars. The money will go towards supporting individuals with learning disabilities to help them to play an active role in the community through partaking in life skills activities.

October 2012- Belle Isle Elderly Winter Aid

We would like to thank all the lovely roomies who helped us raise money on the 10th October. Altogether we raised £151.24 for  Belle Isle Elderly Winter Aid, who will be using the money to ensure elderly people receive all the local council, health services and welfare they are entitled to.

September 2012 - SPANA

On Wednesday 12th September we raised £159.45 for SPANA. The money raised will go towards helping working animals of the world including education programmes which teach children respect and compassion for animals.

August 2012 - Hope Animal Shelter

Thank you to all our roomies who joined us on 8th August to help raise £161.26 for the Hope Animal Shelter. The money raised will help towards rescuing, sheltering and caring for a large variety of abandoned, stray or unwanted animals.

May 2012 -The Childrens Trust

The Children's Trust was set up to help children who are born with disabilities or who have become disabled suddenly as a result of an accident or illness. Thank you to all the roomies who helped us raise £158.58 for this worthy cause.

April 2012 - The Ladybird Development Group

The Ladybird Development Group was set up in 1985 and aims to provide further development for pre-school children who require additional support. In April we raised £150 for the charity.

March 2012 - The Victoria Hospital Renal unit

Thank you to all the roomies who joined us on March 28th for our charity bingo evening where we raised £150 for the Renal unit at the Victoria Hospital.

February 2012 - The Heart of Darts

The aim of the Heart of Darts is to give help and support where it is not readily available from any other source. The charity helps purchase equipment for people such as wheelchairs and other mobility products. In February Crown Bingo helped raise £160 for the charity.

January 2012 - North West Region Kidney Patients Assosiation

The North West Region Kidney Patients Assosiation help to create awareness of Kidney disease and the need for transplants. We raised £165.82 for the charity in January.

 

2011

December 2011 -The East Anglian Air Ambulance

Every December we help CM Sapphire raise money for The East Anglian Air Ambulance. In December 2011 we raised £250 for the charity.

September 2011 - Men Get Eating Disorders Too

Men Get Eating Disorders Too is a UK based charity which represents and supports men with eating disorders. In September we raised £160.69 for the charity, the money will go towards raising awareness of eating disorders in men so they can seek support.

August 2011 - Naomi House

Naomi House and Jacksplace provide support and care for children and young people with life limiting conditions. Thank you to all our lovely roomies who joined us for our charity bingo evening and helped raise £186.

July 2011 - The Toby Henderson Trust

The Toby Henderson Trust  works with children with Autism on a one to one basis to help them reach their true potential and helps to celebrate their individuality. In July we raised £140 for the charity to help support families through a family support service which offers advice, counseling and specialist training workshops.

June 2011 - The Foundation of the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID)

The FSID is the UK's leading charity and aims to prevent the unexpected deaths in infancy and promote infant health. Thank you to all our roomies who joined us on 8th June and helped to raise £155.

May 2011 - Lifeline 4 Kids

Thank you to everyone who took part in Charity Bingo on Monday 9th May, where we raised £175 for Lifeline 4 Kids. This a a fantastic amount and will go towards helping children with disabilities and special needs.

April 2011- Celia Hammond Animal Trust

Thank you to everyone who took part in Charity Bingo night on 11th April. We raised a fantastic £150 for the Cellia Hammond Animal Trust. The money will go towards helping renew the cosy beds and scratch pads for rescued Cats.

March 2011 - Marie Curie Cancer Care

Thank you to everyone who helped raise a fantastic £153.86 for presenter Ian who is raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Feburary 2011 - Macmillan Cancer Care

Thank you to everybody who took part in Charity Bingo on Monday 21st February. We rasied a fantastic £137 for Macmillan Cancer Care.

January 2011 - The Pulmonary Hypertension Association

On Monday the 10th Jan we raised £170 for The Pulmonary Hypertension Association. The money we raised will go towards helping fund research of this disease. Thank you to everyone who helped support this charity.

 

2010

December 2010 - The East Anglian Air Ambulance

On Monday the 13th Dec we raised £112.77 for The East Anglian Air Ambulance. Thank you to all Roomies who helped to support this charity.

November 2010 - The Poppy Appeal

On Monday the 8th Nov we raised £162 for The Poppy Appeal. Thank you to all Roomies who took part in the evening.

October 2010- Callum Green Fund

On Monday the 11th Oct we raised £194 for the Callum Green Fund. Thank you to everyone who took part in the evening and for your continued support.

September 2010 - Grace House

On Monday 13th Sept we raised a fantastic £218.35 for the Grace House Hospice! Thanks Roomies!

August 2010 - Carers UK

On Monday 9th August our players helped to raise £224.29 for Carers UK - thanks to everyone who took part in a great evening of fundraising fun!

July 2010 - Presenter Ian from Bingo Studio Live

On Monday 12th July we helped to raised a total of £170 for Ian from Bingo Studio Live's charity trek across the Grand Canyon. A massive thanks to everyone who supported this great cause and took part in a fantastic evening!

June 2010 - Whizz-Kidz

On Monday 14th June you helped us to raise £195.17 for another extremely worthy charity. Thanks to all our roomies for their continued help and support!

May 2010 - Cancer Research UK

December 2009 - East Angilan Air Ambulance

November 2009 - Grace House North East Children's Hospice Appeal

June 2009 - National Osteoperosis Society

April 2009 - National Autism Society

On Monday 13th April we raised £170 for the National Autism Society! Many thanks for all your support! 

March 2009 - Dovehouse

This month we let the 9pm full house winner in Room 2 choose the Charity of the Month.  The winner "MAMOF5NANOF2" chose Dovehouse, a hospice charity for cancer care in Hull who received £250! 

February 2009 - The Variety Club

On February 9th you helped us raise a massive £300 for the Variety club! Many thanks for all your support! 

January 2009 - PDSA & Cretan Animal Welfare

On Monday 12th January  we raised a fantastic £140 in support of the PDSA and £182 for the Cretan Animal Welfare.Thanks to all who came along!

On Monday 15th September you raised a total of £337 for the Rainbow Trust.

August 2008 - MS Society

On the 12th August you raised a whopping £395 for the MS Society. Many thanks for all your support! 

July 2008 - Race For Life

Many thanks to all our roomies who raised £212 for Cancer Research.

June 2008 - Orchid Cancer Awareness

On the 23rd June we raised £228 in total for Orchid Cancer Awareness. Many thanks for all your support! 

May 2008 - Bliss, the premature baby charity

Many thanks to all those who sent in Cardi's for our knit-a-thon. We received 40 cardi's which raised a total of £200 along with our donation of £224 from our usual 50% staked match.

April 2008 - St Oswalds Hospice

On Monday 14th April you raised £268 for St Oswalds Hospice. The Winner of the Circus Starr tickets gailwildcat40 decided to donate the tickets to local children and claimed £5 credit.

March 2008 - Cancer Resarch

In March RareGold the 8pm Full House winner during our Charity session chose Cancer Research as our charity of the month. 

February 2008 - The Variety Club, North East

On Valentines Day we raised £413 for the Variety Club. Many thanks for all your support!
