Live Casino Guide
Whether you’re new to the world of bingo or you’re a regular to the many rooms we have on offer at Crown Bingo, it’s difficult not to notice the other things going on across our site. We’re regularly adding new online slots to our growing collection of games and we also have a huge range of others on offer where you can play scratchcards online.
But it doesn’t end there, as right in the heart of our collection are our live casino games, which can offer all of our players a unique gaming experience. Here at Crown Bingo, our live casino offerings fuse together the best features that players are likely to find in a real land-based casino, including dealers and state-of-the-art gameplay mechanics that they can enjoy from the comfort of their own home.
If you’re unfamiliar with the setup within a live casino, we’ve put together a complete guide so you’ll have a basic insight into the games on offer, whether you’re looking to spin the wheel of the roulette tables we have on offer, pull up a chair at one of our blackjack tables, or try your hand at one of our live game shows.
Some of the most popular tables frequented within our live casino are our live roulette tables. It’s here where players can place a wager on a number of outcomes as to where the small ball spun around the wheel will land.
For those unfamiliar with the game, a roulette wheel contains 37 numbered pockets which include 18 black numbers, 18 red numbers and one green number which is normally zero. Before the ball is added to the wheel for each spin, players can place outside bets, with the most common being whether the number will be red or black, odd or even, or high or low.
As well as those basic bets, players can also place inside bets which will cover a smaller area of the roulette table and these will be either be placed on a small cluster of 2-4 numbers or a single number. The odds available for these wagers vary between 8:1 and 35:1.
For those players who’d like a little more insight into the game, it’s also worth noting that we do in fact offer two types of roulette tables here at Crown Bingo, those are European and French, but never fear, the numbers used on both are exactly the same.
What Type of Roulette Games Can I Play?
Well, alongside the traditional live roulette game, players can also play a game on our Lightning Roulette table where additional lucky numbers and payouts will be on offer in each and every game. But the roulette doesn’t stop there, as we also offer Live Speed Roulette, Live Roulette and Live Auto Roulette La Partage, all of which have a live dealer on hand to guide you through each spin and interact with all our players via live audio and chat so you can get that live casino feel from the comfort of your armchair.
If you’re looking for the modern live casino game which closely relates to that of traditional pontoon or 21, then look no further than our streamlined Live Blackjack. Arguably one of the top games available in a live casino, the aim of this game is to make a hand which either totals 21 or is higher than the dealer without going bust (above 21). While playing a game, players will first place their bet, and after they have been dealt two cards they’ll have the option to hit and add further cards to their hand or *stick which means they’ll progress with the cards they have.
What Types of Blackjack Can I Play?
As well as the traditional live blackjack games we have on offer at Crown Bingo, we also have something a little different which may appeal to the party animals within our cohort of online bingo players. Live Blackjack Party is a new concept that replicates the land-based game of betting from behind, but also includes a party atmosphere through its live music and party presenters.
Discover your inner James Bond as you pull up a chair to one of our Live Baccarat tables. A relatively simple card game, the objective in a game of Baccarat is to have a hand which totals as close to 9 as possible. The hands in play are that of the player and the banker, and all bets must be made before any cards are placed on the table, which means you must guess on the outcome before seeing the cards.
What is the scoring in Baccarat?
No matter which version of Baccarat our online slots and bingo players choose to go for, the scoring in all of the games will remain the same. This means that cards valued at 10 or above are worth zero points - this includes the picture cards and all other cards, including the Ace - which is set to a numerical value of 1 - are taken at face value. The aim of the game is to achieve a natural win of either 8 or 9. When the scores are calculated from the two cards dealt within each hand they are added together, and if they make above 10, such as 9+7 equalling 16, the 10 will be removed and the final total will be 6.
What Type of Baccarat Can I Play?
If Baccarat is your game of choice in our live casino then we have a myriad of versions on offer for you to choose from as well as traditional Live Baccarat, so if you’re more of a speed fiend and prefer the fast and the furious then pull up a chair at our Live Speed Baccarat where the betting period will only last 10 seconds, and we also offer No Commission Baccarat where the commission normally taken by the casino has been removed entirely.
As well as all of the top live casino card games we have on offer at Crown Bingo we also have a host of live game show games which our players can spin the wheel of. The most popular in our opinion is Monopoly Live, a dreamcatcher edition of the popular board game, which like all of our live casino games has a dealer on hand to spin the wheel and guide players through the game.
What is Monopoly Live?
As we noted above, Monopoly Live is an alternative version of the Live Dream Catcher, and the wheel spun by the dealer is split into 54 sections which are divided by pins. 48 of those are labelled with numbers 1, 2, 5 and 10 and come with a different colour. The remaining sections include two chance segments, three 2 rolls section and one 4 rolls section. To play the game players need simply place a bet on the colour of their choice, and if they’ve chosen the right place where the wheel lands, they will receive a payout.
There is a bonus game on offer within this live casino game and for this to become active, players will need to place a wager on the 2 rolls or 4 rolls option, this will mean that Mr Monopoly will roll the dice in the bonus game, make his way around a game board and collect prizes for players that will be paid out before returning to the main game.
The final game we’d like to introduce to our bingo players is Live Poker. A firm favourite in many land-based casinos, there are a few variants. The two our players will most likely encounter are stud and draw. To successfully win a hand in any of the games we offer, they will need to assemble the best hand possible from the two cards they have been dealt, but this will differ depending on the game you choose to play.
What Type of Poker Can I Play?
There are several types of Live Poker games which players will encounter within our live casino, with the most common being Ultimate Texas Hold’Em. But if you prefer to play a game similar to Baccarat while also enjoying a hand of poker, then Live Three Card Poker could be the perfect option.
